Computer and reading rooms

The following resources are available to STI students:

At the STI

  • Brian Harris Room (ART 526)

    Contains a large selection of documents useful to students in the graduate programs. It also holds almost 1000 volumes of Canadian literature in translation (both the French and the English versions) donated by the Canada Council of the Arts. A security code grants access to this room.

  • Interpretation Laboratory (SMD 504)

    This lab is reserved for students in interpretation.

At the Faculty of Arts  

  • The Writing Center (SMD 0021)

    Computers and many different kinds of software are available.

  • The Graduate Student Computer Lab (SMD 332)

    Hours of operation
    Monday to Thursday – 10 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
    Friday – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
    Saturday and Sunday – 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

At the University

  • Morisset Library

    The terminology banks TERMIUM (federal government) and the GRAND DICTIONNAIRE TERMINOLOGIQUE (Office de la langue française) are available for students to consult at the library.
